Is Taco Bell halal?

The KFC combo-location question

Ontario has a number of combination KFC / Taco Bell restaurants, and this creates genuine confusion. Since May 2024, most Ontario KFC locations serve halal-certified chicken — but that arrangement covers KFC's chicken supply specifically. It does not extend to the Taco Bell menu sharing the building.
