Five Guys is one of the few chains that has answered this publicly and unambiguously — in the negative.
The company position
Five Guys does not use halal beef except in its Middle East stores, and has said so directly on its own website and social channels. Canada is not an exception, and neither is the UK.
The bacon factor
Bacon is a menu staple at Five Guys and is cooked on the same flat-top. So even for diners weighing a non-zabihah standard, the grill itself is the problem.
The fries are a genuine exception
Five Guys fries are cooked in peanut oil in dedicated fryers, not shared with meat. That's unusually clean for a burger chain, and the ingredients aren't an issue. It doesn't change the rest of the menu.
