Little Caesars comes down to one question: are you asking about the pizza, or about the kitchen?
The chain position
Little Caesars is not halal-certified in Canada or the US. The pepperoni and sausage are pork-based.
The cheese pizza nuance
This is the part worth explaining properly, because the ingredient answer is better than people expect:
- The dough is vegetarian.
- The mozzarella and muenster blend uses microbial or plant-based enzymes, not animal rennet — which is the usual sticking point with cheese.
So on ingredients alone, a plain cheese pizza is largely fine.
The counterweight: pork pepperoni is being handled continuously in a high-volume kitchen built around speed. Shared surfaces, shared hands, shared prep. Cross-contact here isn't theoretical.
If your standard is ingredient-based, the cheese pizza works. If it accounts for the kitchen, it doesn't.
Where to go instead
The GTA has fully halal pizza shops serving halal pepperoni and beef — see our pizza category, or Pizza Pizza for the chain option.
