The Canadian position
Chick-fil-A does not advertise or certify its chicken as halal in Canada. Canadian restaurants are supplied through the same standardized North American system used in the US.
Why the question keeps coming up
Chick-fil-A opened its first Canadian restaurant in Toronto and has been rolling out across the GTA since. New openings in heavily Muslim neighbourhoods generate the reasonable assumption that the chain might have adapted its sourcing. It hasn't.
The underlying reason is structural: Chick-fil-A's supply chain is deliberately uniform across North America, and a Canada-only halal line would mean a separate arrangement for a small slice of total volume.
If a location claims otherwise
Ask to see a current certificate. The company confirms nothing of the kind, so a counter claim is worth checking rather than accepting.
