An easy one, for once: Burger Factory operates as a halal chain, and both the company's own claims and community consensus back it.
The record
Burger Factory's own materials state its burgers are made with 100% fresh, locally sourced halal beef, the menu carries no pork products, and the chain appears across community halal directories. This isn't a "halal options" chain — halal is the concept.
We've also eaten there: the Mississauga location (5130 Dixie Rd) is No. 11 on the Hit List, where we found it operating as a halal restaurant. One honest caveat that applies to every chain: halal claims are typically backed at the supplier level, so if a specific certifier or slaughter method matters to your standard, ask your location for the paperwork.
The verdict
Solid. The Juicy Lucy — a cheese-stuffed patty — is the order, and the mac and cheese bites do their job. Full review below.
