Mostly no — Domino's in Canada is not halal. If you've seen halal Domino's content online, you were almost certainly looking at another country's menu.
The record
Domino's operates fully halal across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East — different franchise systems, different suppliers. Domino's Canada shares none of that, and runs no halal program.
The Canadian nuance: a few individual franchisees in heavily Muslim neighbourhoods have reportedly sourced halal chicken toppings on their own initiative. There's no list, no corporate backing, and no certification framework behind it — and even where the topping is halal, every pizza crosses the same make-line as pork pepperoni, through the same oven. That combination puts Domino's outside most halal standards even at its best.
If a specific store claims halal toppings, ask what document backs it and what it covers.
The better move
Dedicated halal pizza shops in the GTA do everything Domino's does — the delivery apps included — from kitchens with zero non-halal meat in the building. Our picks below.
